Gavin is a Chartered Surveyor with a wealth of experience in building consultancy and project management. He began his career in Central London before relocating to Yorkshire to join a national Building Surveying practise where he developed his skills in commercial Building Surveying. Gavin then commenced employment with one of the world’s largest Project Management and Consultancy organisations where he gained valuable Project Management skills. In 2013, Gavin set up Wainwright and Co. with a vision to bring a passion for property and construction and a fresh customer focussed approach to consultancy and project management. Gavin has an extensive list of clients and has built a reputation as an industry leading property professional and construction expert. Gavin loves a challenge, is a problem solver who is a pragmatic and logical thinker, these skills have been invaluable when delivering complex schemes. Gavin’s core expertise relates to commercial and mixed used developments, offices, warehousing, education and healthcare. Gavin is responsible for the delivery of all Wainwright and Co. projects and manages the team to ensure that high standards are maintained.
An established property professional with comprehensive experience in wide ranging aspects of development, construction and property work. Nathan is recognised within the industry for his exemplary track record in delivering professional services to owners, occupiers and investors of all asset and construction types including large, prestigious projects.
Nathan provides Project Manager, Development Manager and Employer’s Agent duties, along with offering Retail Delivery, Development Monitoring and commercial advice. In addition, Nathan will inform on procurement strategies, technical due diligence, and feasibility studies.
Nathan has significant experience working on client, consultant and contractor sides and is conversant with the complexities of administering commercial contracts, development agreements and third-party arrangements, along with having gained considerable experience in appointment and management of design teams, specialist consultants, suppliers and contractors.
Nathan is accomplished in the production and monitoring of planning, design, and construction programmes and successfully leads projects, to achieve Client objectives time and again.
Greg has gained a wealth of experience in the construction industry. Having trained and worked as an Architectural Technologist Greg became a Building Surveyor who has acted for a large number of nationwide retailers. Greg naturally progressed to becoming a Project Manager and has delivered both new build and refurbishment projects for the likes of Sainsbury’s, Currys, Jewsons, The Co-operative and Home Bargains. Greg is also accomplished in frame work management having been a lead designer and project manager for both West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester Police Authorities including delivering the country’s leading terrorist holding facility for the Counter Terrorism Unit. Greg has over 15 years of experience in the education sector extending, developing and refurbishing schools throughout Yorkshire.
Kevin joined the practice as a Graduate Building Surveyor in 2014 and has since become a core member of the Wainwright and Co. team, supporting the growth of the business. Kevin acts for a variety of clients in commercial, office and warehousing instructions, has a keen attention for detail and understands the need for quality and excellent service, which he strives to achieve when undertaking all instructions.
Kevin has a wealth of experience in the commercial sector and has undertaken contract administration and project management roles on a large number of projects throughout the UK.
He specialises in undertaking dilapidation surveys on behalf of both tenants and landlords and has a significant amount of experience carrying out building inspections, building condition surveys and schedule of condition surveys on a variety of building types.
Josh is a Building Surveyor and Project Manager, who is working towards gaining RICS qualifications.
Josh’s experience includes the designing and managing of refurbishment projects to commercial and industrial properties. Josh has successfully assisted in the delivery of project management services for several large commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK.
Josh has a range of Building Surveying skills that assist him in undertaking of dilapidations, defects appraisal, measured surveys and architectural design.
Ben is a Building Surveyor and Project Manager with experience in both commercial and residential property and previously worked for a large northern based developer and more recently a reputable residential property management and consultancy firm.
Ben’s main areas of expertise are building surveys, defect analysis, building condition surveys, schedules of Condition, experience in dilapidations, measured surveys, conservation, and project management.
Drew heads up the Design & Planning division of Wainwright and Co. and has knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of a wide range of projects including Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Master-Planning schemes throughout the UK. His expertise involves Design & Construction as well as implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) across numerous projects whilst concentrating on sustainability to deliver highly efficient schemes for clients.
Drew graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BSc (Hons) in Architecture and Environmental Design and is currently undertaking a Master’s Degree in Architecture focusing on sustainable and environmental design.
Maureen has 25 years of experience of in office administration and has been involved with building consultancy for the last 15 years and organises and co-ordinates office duties and procedures.
Maureen is an ISO auditor and has a qualification to NVQ level 3 in Health and Safety.
Maureen ensures Wainwright and Co. are up to date with statutory regulations and has responsibility for company accounts.
