Wainwright and Co have been appointed to manage a 20,000 square foot, £800k office refurbishment at Britannia House in Northampton. Britannia House is a 3-storey riverside detached office building situated in Rushmills which forms part of the successful Lakes development, 1 mile east of Northampton town centre.
The 3-storey refurbishment comprises complete refurbishment of the office floor plates to Category A specification, modernisation of the WCs, and communal areas, as well as installation of a new mechanical and electrical systems.
Wainwright and Co are responsible for design, specification, project management and commercial management services. We have negotiated the Category A and B works with the incoming tenant, a large insurance firm who will begin their tenancy as soon as the works are complete. Wainwright and Co will also be managing a dilapidations claim on behalf of the landlord. Nathan Green, Director said,

In addition to PM, QS and design services, we are managing dilapidation claims negotiations with the out-going tenant and negotiation of the Cat A and Cat B specification with the new tenant.
